Craig is a Director at CapeClarke, based in our Manchester office. Craig is the National Head of the Insurance & Family Team.
He began his recruitment career back in 2010 joining a reputable legal recruitment agency, focusing on the commercial and private practice market in London. After two successful years he was approached to lead the North West insurance and personal injury legal market for an international recruitment agency.
After four years of leading his department to success he was headhunted to return to his previous practice to run and head the insurance and personal injury market across the whole of the UK. During his return, he grew the team from two to eight members within four years and it was financially the highest performing team year on year.
Craig specialises in the following areas: Claimant & Defendant Personal Injury, Industrial Disease, Fraud, Healthcare, Clinical Negligence, Credit Hire, Child Abuse, Commercial Insurance, Professional Indemnity, Cyber Insurance, Marine & Family Law.
In 2017 he won the Talent & Recruiter of the Year award at the Manchester Young Talent Awards. He was also lucky to be nominated in 2015 as the best recruiter of the year at the Manchester Business Awards and in 2019 as the best talent recruiter at the Made in Manchester Awards.
With his breadth of experience he understands the pressures that candidates feel when considering moving roles and also appreciates the culture and demands of a private practice law firm.
In his spare time you will see him doing two things, either watching Manchester City or playing golf at his local course, Flixton, where he is a member.
