CapeClarke and the Leeds Junior Lawyers Division hosted their second annual Rounders event at Soldier’s Field in Roundhay Park on Saturday 4 August.
Taking full advantage of the extended British Summer we are enjoying this year, the event was attended by over 35 junior lawyers and trainee solicitors from across the region.
Showcasing the competitive nature we all know and love about the legal industry, the tournament was played in the right spirit with every team determined to win! In the end, Addleshaw Goddard triumphed over Walker Morris in the final with a last gasp rounder to win the tournament.
Proceedings continued over some hearty food and plenty of alcohol in the sun at the excellent Stew and Oyster in Oakwood. A good time was had by all and it was a great event for people from different firms to get to know each other!
The event perfectly followed up the hugely successful Manhattan Rooftop Summer Party and BBQ which took place at East 59th on Friday 27 July, again organised in conjunction with CapeClarke.
